Dierk Herbermann’s deep experience in the real estate industry began in Northern California as General Manager and Counsel at Bay Area brokerages, both independent brands and a national franchise. As Chief Operating Officer at Kentwood Real Estate, he helps lead operations at Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices of America’s luxury brand in Colorado.

Kentwood serves communities along the Front Range metropolitan area from Colorado Springs to Fort Collins and across northern Colorado with residential and commercial brokerage services, leasing and property management, relocation services, Prosperity Home Mortgage and HomeServices Insurance.

Dierk’s expertise helps provide the Kentwood executive team an opportunity to expand their focus on business development opportunities and strategy, while remaining solidly mindful of their highly successful brokers and brand. He’s focused on building the best environment for creating and supporting successful brokers.

Prior to moving into real estate management, Dierk was a top sales agent.  An experience which today provides him the empathy to understand the day to day life of an agent/broker and has helped him successfully build offices and companies.

Raised in Ann Arbor, Michigan, Dierk is a huge Michigan football fan. He believes strongly in the virtues of “team,” and says, “Real estate is the ultimate team sport. I thrive on working with agents and managers to help them succeed. Bringing out their confidence and success drives me.”  He is an avid soccer player, skier and triathlete. Dierk is married to wife Jennifer, has three daughters, a stepdaughter and a stepson.

Dierk began his career as the sales, licensing and real estate counsel for Autodesk, Inc. in Marin county.  He worked as general counsel and business development director for two software start-ups prior to starting his own practice focused on emerging companies.  Dierk graduated magna cum laude from Boston College with a B.A. in History. He then earned his J.D. from Golden Gate University School of Law.  He speaks conversational German.
